AoE: Definitive Edition – now available on Steam

Well if you’re like me, you were probably hoping for some news on the elusive (but apparently still being worked on) Age of Empires IV to come out of Gamescom but alas, no such luck. We did however, get a couple of updates of happenings within the AoE world.

Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is now available through the Microsoft Store and also now Xbox Game Pass for PC and Steam. Crossplay between MS and Steam editions is also available too!

We now also have a release date for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition which was announced at E3. Arriving 15th November (NZ) and available again through the Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass for PC and Steam at launch, this edition is probably the most anticipated of the series.

“You’ll be able to enjoy all the features—including cross play with your friends, four brand-new civilizations, three new campaigns, and a transport ship full of game improvements —right on day one”
