Get ready to enter the Warzone

Call of Duty: Warzone launches tomorrow morning here in NZ (11th March), promising to bring with it new game-changing, free to play, Battle Royale action.

Players that already have Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will have access to Warzone from 4am (NZT) with everyone else able to join in at 8am (NZT).

At launch, players can jump in squads with their friends across two game modes: Battle Royale and Plunder. Battle Royale being with up to 150 players with a familiar closing circle (running from gas this time) and Plunder, a race to loot anything and anyone to have the most cash.

Warzone takes place in Verdansk, an expansive city with multiple named zones and well over 300 points of interest. Each zone features distinct landmarks like the Gorengard Lumber Yard or the Gora Dam; the zones take place across different environment types like cities and rural areas for unique engagements. Change up your drop location in each match to get a better lay of the land and take advantage of what Verdansk has to offer.

Also to add another layer of fun/challenge to the mix, there are also a number of vehicle types available to use throughout Warzone including ATVs, SUVs, Trucks and even Helicopters!

Warzone will also incorporate a number of different elements that will shake things up a bit, including a potential 1v1 redemption in the “Gulag” to get you redeployed and various in game contracts to keep you busy while trying to stay alive.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PS4, PC & Xbox One. Have a play and let us know what you think!
