Fortnite expands with iOS release

It’s one of the most popular games out there at the moment, and Fortnite Battle Royale is gaining more followers by the day! To add to this, Fortnite for iOS has come out of invite only and is now available on all (newish*) iOS devices.

I have played Fortnite on both PC & Xbox One and I’m the first to admit that I would probably be the weakest player on any squad I am part of, however I do still enjoy the odd game and also the more social side of gaming it brings out of people.

Fortnite has probably been the most talked about game (besides LoL) within our tech store/internet cafe circles and this expansion to iOS enables more players to get involved without the need for a decent PC or console – which in my opinion can’t be a bad thing (schools may have a problem in the near future though!).

If you haven’t played Fortnite yet and have a newer iPhone/iPad – Pick it up and give it a try! Controls take a wee bit of getting used to but it’s well worth the money (free!).
