Indie Game releases for September are nothing short of amazing, there are quite a few out there which are harder to find. I’ll be listing a few that I think should be given a bit of spotlight and I hope you can find something interesting to check out from this list. Next month I’ll be looking to do another list so I hope to see you there!

1. Kitaria Fables

Kitaria Fables is an Action-Adventure RPG with Farm Simulation elements. In this cute fantasy world, you’ll be entering dungeons, mastering magic and plundering loot to sustain your farm and fight back the darkness which is engulfing the region. Grab yourself a partner because you’re able to venture forth into this magical land in local co-op too.

Kitaria Fables is available now for PC Steam, Nintendo Switch, Playstation and Xbox. Kitaria Fables also has a Demo on Steam you can find here and also a launch 20% discount until September 9th.

2. Webbed

Webbed follows the story of a happy little spider who must venture forth to save her boyfriend from a scary bowerbird. As this cute little spider, you can swing through trees, spin webs and make friends with bugs. Arachnophobes beware, however, this is an incredibly adorable spider if I do say so. It is also awesome to mention the development studio behind the game hails from my home state of Queensland, Australia. Nice!

Webbed is releasing on September 9th to PC Steam, Humble Store and GOG.

3. Eastward

Eastward is an Adventure RPG set in a charming world of delightfully strange creatures and towns full of stranger people. In a society on the brink of collapse, you play as John a miner who has lived underground his whole life who finds Sam underground during one of his digs. Eastward is a game I have been following for years on Twitter and I think it was before the publisher Chucklefish (Risk of Rain, Starbound, WarGroove, etc) picked up the project. Finally, the game is being released and I am very excited about it.

Eastward is releasing on September 16th for PC Steam and Nintendo Switch.

In Timberborn you control a colony of beavers who have a unique system of architecture, wooden machines, water to control and dams to build. Build your town up, water your crops, research new technology and keep everyone fed and happy to have the best success in conquering this harsh world. Timberborn previously had a demo up that I played and I believe it has tons of promise as a unique city-builder.
